LAKE
McDONALD becomes visible almost as soon as you enter the park at Apgar, on the west side.
It is clear, deep, beautiful, and very cold!! It stretches 10 miles along
Going to the Sun Road. There are many places to stop for photos, taking a dip (I've
actually seen people completely immersed in the lake.
I would NEVER - it's just too cold), or STONE SKIPPING!! Lake McDonald is the best stone skipping spot in the world. |
